TrueNorth X started out as just a cool name my girlfriend came up with for an Instagram page where I showcase all the breathtaking places I've been to. Hey everyone my names Maccario. The founder of TrueNorth X and Co-founder of the better known Calgary Off-Road Experience (C.O.R.E). I always thought I could turn this page that I've started into something more and on top of that, share my experiences with as many people as I could. Canada's beauty is something not a lot of people document, or get to see. There are so many hidden gems, so to say. From hidden waterfalls, and old mines, to old abandoned train tracks that disappear into the shadow of our magnificent Rocky Mountains. It has always been a dream to showcase it all, it has been influenced by my mom, and after she passed away I decided to work hard to make that dream come true.
Now at the same time I want to show everyone that constantly exploring isn't all what it seems. Constant challenges, with the rig, weather, not getting enough time off work, whatever it may be. I want everyone to join the experience, be right in on the action, the goofy sometimes sketchy stuff we do and feel like your right there. As we crest the summit of a mountain, trek to the North Pole (spoiler alert), plow through deep snow, get stuck, and then break things and have to fix them.
